'November Keepsakes' by Lola Willis is a heartfelt collection of poetry and short fiction inspired by the landscapes of Louisiana. Written over a decade, the collection explores themes of pain, love and faith, released after the tragic death of her firstborn, who was the muse behind its publication. Lola Willis lives and writes in Leesville, Louisiana with her husband and six children. She lost her firstborn daughter to suicide in May 2024, which fuels her poetry and activism for suicide prevention. Lola's poetry, short stories and parenting articles have appeared in both online and print publications. 'November Keepsakes' is her first collection.
