L.A. MacDonald lives in the Northwoods of the USA with two shelties, armor, and weapons of all sorts. When not writing, MacDonald is dreaming up new stories and worlds.
Classically trained, MacDonald believes that heroes should be heroes, in spite of their flaws, and villains should be villains in spite of or even because of any virtues. It is the choices each of us make as individuals that decides our heroic status. The pikeman that stands and saves the King's life is the same species as the ones that run, the difference is in the choice each makes.
