Autorenporträt
Dr. Alexandr Stepanov is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Third Faculty of Medicine in Prague, Charles University and a Chair of the Ophthalmology Department in Klaudian's Hospital in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic. Dr. Stepanov is Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) and a member of several international ophthalmologic societies. He is the main author and co-author of several ophthalmological books and articles. His clinical work focuses on vitreoretinal pathology, uveitis, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.

Dr. Jan Studnicka is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove, Charles University. He works at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University Hospital in Hradec Kralove and is also the head of the Eye Centre VISUS, spol. s r.o. in the Czech Republic He specializes in vitreoretinal diseases, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other diseases of the retina and choroid. He is the author and co-author of numerous lectures, articles and books focused on vitreoretinal diseases.
