It seems the answer to all their problems might be aboard Odysseus's ship, which is set to pass by the island on its way toward Ithaca. A simple enchantment would be all it took to redirect the craft, and Circe is just the sorceress to perform it.

So long as Odysseus can forget all about his loyal Penelope, Circe might have found herself a new hero to make her plaything.
