Brooke Shaffer was born and raised in a small town in Michigan with one blinking light and a stop sign that's more of a suggestion. After dropping out of college in 2013, she married her husband Adam in 2014 and they moved out to an even smaller town that doesn't even have a stop sign, where they started a farm that continues to this day. Her favorite animal has been and always will be cats, of which she currently has five.

Other hobbies include video games, construction work and tinkering, traveling, martial arts, and eating.
