Autorenporträt
Steve Karmazenuk is a Father, cosplayer, lifelong author, former op-ed writer and ex music journalist.

Among his earlier genre works are the science-fiction stories, The Unearthing, Through Darkness and Stars, and The Chronicles of the Aeons War, but he doesn't like talking about them.

While working in the music scene, he also wrote Oh Well, Whatever, Nevermind: A story of sex, drugs and grunge rock, set during the 1990s in the music scene of a small college town, in Montreal.

While on a personal sabbatical from writing owing to painful and life-changing events, Steve found himself in the grips of months of relentless, horrifying, vivid, unsettling and recurring nightmares. Plagued by these visions and events in sleep, haunted by them in his waking life, Steven eventually realized that all the horrors he was bearing witness to nightly had a subtly-hidden narrative thread.

That thread was woven into They Came in Peace: Steve's upcoming and long-awaited new novel.
