The inspiring memoir of how a boy who grew up poor in East Texas overcame countless obstacles to become an award-winning neurosurgeon and play an instrumental role in transforming a rundown hospital into a regional trauma and transplant center-and is still "On Call" after a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Jim Moody's story is for anyone who has experienced physical, financial, or professional limitations, dealt with emotional pain when hurt by others, or wondered if God cares or even exists. Moody bares his soul about how God provided for and guided him through desperate times despite his doubts-and He will do the same for all who ask. The only requirement is a molecule of faith.
