A profound confession and, at the same time, a revealing panorama of Greece from the 1960s to the present day, referring to all the crucial events and figures that marked our post-political history: the founding of PASOK and its victory in the 1981 elections, Andreas Papandreou and Costas Simitis, the Koskotas embezzlement scandal, the "Macedonian question, the Ocalan affair, the decade of the memoranda, the Marfin tragedy, the migration crisis, the Evros crisis, the "Lernaean Hydra" of armed violence, the interconnection of terrorism with common and organized crime, among others. Writing in first person, Michalis Chrisochoidis unfolds an adventurous journey of political struggles and obstacles, difficult moments and decisions; he shares his thoughts on modernization and populism, the progressive world and extremism, his deep faith in man and collective struggles.
