Autorenporträt
David Greig was born in Edinburgh in 1969 and studied at Bristol University. In 1990 he co-founded (with Graham Eatough) Suspect Culture, with which he is now Dramaturg; he has collaborated on and written eight shows for the company, including One Way Street (1995), Airport (1996), Timeless (1997).

His other plays include The Events; Damascus; Midsummer; Europe and The Architect (Traverse); Stalinland (Citizens', Glasgow); Petra (TAG Theatre Co.); Caledonia Dreaming (7:84 Scotland); and adaptations of The Ubu Plays (Almeida) and Oedipus the King (Theatre Babel). He has written two films: Nightlife (BBC Scotland) and Nothing in the Whole Wide World (United Broadcasting). For radio: Copper Sulphate (BBC Radio 3).
