There is a mission, danger and adventure on this voyage through the Suez Canal. Some of this story is true, as our family lived in Botswana, Africa from 1983 - 1985. But most of the story is fiction, for the reading enjoyment of 11-year olds.

Judy Miner decided decades ago to take a special trip with her children and grandchildren - when each of them turned age eleven. After each journey, Judy and that eleven-year-old would write a story together. These stories provide a memory of the territory covered in their travels.
