Bob Gammon has lived in the Memphis area for most of his life and taught in public schools for 35 years. Currently, he is the President and Chief Consultant for American Disabilities Consultants, which works with businesses and government entities to provide access for people with disabilities. Those who are willing to stand up for the rights of all people inspire his writing. Bob is a proud father and grandfather. He and his wife are actively involved in their church and Carnival Memphis. A sequel to Orange Polar Bears Don't Cry is underway. About the Illustrator: Wilford Jones is the illustrator of Orange Polar Bears Don't Cry. He is a former educator with the public school system. He has worked with youths in various summer and after-school programs. His drawings are his way of expressing and sharing his feelings about life's many challenges.
