Florence Temko (1921-2009), was a founder of OrigamiUSA, and is well-known internationally as a pioneering paper artist and folk crafts expert. She authored nearly 30 craft books and participated in hundreds of programs and exhibitions in schools, universities, libraries and museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
