James Farrell Cousar studied chemistry, photography and theater while attending Ohio University.During his summer breaks from college, he was employed at Dow Chemical Company as a research chemist, and there he received a patent for his innovative packaging design.The next year as the "hippie movement" began to spread across the country, he auditioned and was awarded the lead role in his first feature film "Sign of Aquarius". Later it was re-released as "Ghetto Freaks". James moved to Los Angeles, CA and became an awarded winning actor, portraying various characters in features titled "Friday Foster", "Black Samson", "Blackenstein", and "Renegade Force". He fine-tuned his craft while working with director Mel Brooks in "Spaceballs".His popularity peaked with his appearances in numerous TV commercials, thus receiving guest invitations to appear on the television talk shows "A.M.L.A.", "Just Natural" and the popular game show "Baggage", He mastered his performance ability while carrying the lead role in the web series "The Human Condition-DEATH", where he never spoke a single word. Homing in on his acting functional effectiveness he was awarded the BEST ACTOR in a paramedic training film.James' love of the live theater delved him into playing roles on stage, from the "Night of The Iguana", to the Los Angeles theaters, portraying lead characters in "Norman, is that you?" and "The Boys In The Band", Live theater disciplined his voice to function as a spokesman in videos, from "The City of Long Beach Promo", "Season Funding Program" for The Link Corp, to analyzing "sickle cell Anemia" for the Cleveland Clinic Organization.James created, wrote and produced informative radio programs for four years. Having learnt the facets of storytelling, has developed his writing skills enabling him to write, produce and direct video shorts, such as "High Heels and Killer Wheels", "Franken Fingers-The True Story" and the exceptional "The Safety Channel-promo".While working as a contributing columnist for the world-wide Laufer Publications, he wrote magazine articles dealing with topics such as "Good Grooming Can Be A Good Habit" and "Wigs Are In For Men!".Barnes and Noble, book sellers, invited James to do a book signing event to debut his popular selling novel Alien Invasion "The Beginning". With the success of this event, he immediately wrote a comedy sequel titled "Zombiebusters".James Cousar has always believed that storytelling is the successful transferring of a mental image from one being to another.
