Mochiko Mochida is a writer who first created Ossan Idol! as a light novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou and has continued to write a number of published series, including Koori no Koushaku-sama ni Amayakasaretai! and Geemu de NPC no naka no Hito Yattemasu! As a manga artist, Ossan Idol! is Ichika Kino's debut work, though she has also done character designs for otome games.
