Rainer Oberthur is a professor of religious education and author of numerous books for children and adults. He currently works as a primary school teacher.

Barbara Nascimbeni was born in Italy and studied illustration there and in Germany. She has published numerous children's books including Images of God for Young Children (Eerdmans).
