The book "Our Women in Sharia and Society", by its author, Al -Haddad, includes two parts: legislative and social. The legislative section within it deals with the goal of proving two things .. The first is that the rights that Islam gave to women no longer enjoy and exercise them in the same degree .. as well as at the same level, which Islam put women in it. The author explains that when Islam began these rights for women, he did not want or intend to stand with them, but rather his purpose to pave the complete equality between men and women, but because of the Muslims because of their historical circumstances, they stood in the path of this development. Al -Haddad indicates that the rulings are of two types: the first, unaccounted, the first (such as justice and equality). And the other that was called "transverse rulings", which were required by circumstances ... and the departure of these provisions is not harmful to Islam, such as: inheritance issues, polygamy.
