Autorenporträt
Betty Staley has been a Waldorf teacher, writer, and international lecturer for the last sixty years. She has published eight books about child, adolescent, and adult development, as well as curriculum. Her book Between Form and Freedom, Raising a Teenager, has been a favorite for parent study groups; and Africa, a Guide for Teachers and Families introduces children from kindergarten through high school to the wonders of African history, geography, myths, music, art, and food. Her first children's book, Ow and the Crystal Clear, was published in 1978, and she looks forward to publishing a new edition soon.Betty lives in Fair Oaks, California, loves walking on the American River trail, traveling, and keeping in touch with her children and grandchildren.
