The author of several research papers and coauthor done book, his research interests are in p-adic analysis and nonstandard analysis. Dr. Bayod received the Ph.D. degree (1976) in mathematics from the Universidad de Bilbao, Spain. N. DE GRANDE.DE KNEE is Professor of Mathematics and History of Mathematics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Brussels. Belgium. She is the author of several publications in the field of non-archimedean Bartsch spaces, locally comes spaces, and operator ideals. Dr. Dc Grande-De Kimpe received the Ph.D. degree (1970) in mathematics from the University of Utrecht. Utreclu, The Netherlands. J. MARTFNEZ-MAURICA is Professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Universidad de Cambria, Santander. Spain. The author of several research papers, he is a member of the Scientific Com-mittee of the Conference on p-adic Functional Analysis to be held in 1992.
