Al-Rihani had begun writing his memoirs two years before his departure and published them in episodes in "The Studio" magazine, which was edited by his friend "Anwar Abdullah." It was published in a book after Al-Rihani's departure from "Al-Jib" House in Cairo, with review by Badi' Khairy, Ibrahim Al-Ashmawi, and Anwar Abdullah. Al-Kawakib magazine republished the previously published episodes in Al-Studio magazine from June 3, 1952, until November 4, 1952. After their completion, they were published in Al-Hilal, and were reprinted again in June 1959. Al-Rihani Al-Rihani presented his memoirs, saying: "These are the lines of my life, with its sweetness and bitterness, its bliss and its misery, its full cup and its empty cup... It is an entertainment for those who loved me and it was hard for them to see my picture without makeup, and a reminder to those who will live after me when they like to read the story of a laughing drama whose torment is sweeter than its comfort." .
