Pandemic. Telework. Remote School. CHAOS!
In March 2020, COVID-19 became a household name-and the world as we knew it was changed forever. It was clear this latest surprise wasn't going away anytime soon, and as lockdowns were imposed, we could feel the stress levels rising all around us.

Pandemic. Telework. Remote School. CHAOS!

In March 2020, COVID-19 became a household name-and the world as we knew it was changed forever. It was clear this latest surprise wasn't going away anytime soon, and as lockdowns were imposed, we could feel the stress levels rising all around us.

Over the years, I've found that writing humor helped me relieve stress and gave people a chuckle. However, it was never more than a few Facebook posts. I figured this would be the perfect time to document a historical time through our eyes, and again give people a laugh. For two and a half months, I wrote daily Facebook posts and laid it all out. Completely vulnerable, spiced with witty humor, the Pandemic Parodies was born. With a few nudges and requests from friends and family, and assistance from our daughter, the posts turned into this book.

If you laugh once, we were successful in our mission. Please enjoy!

Autorenporträt
Donna Hoffmeyer, a Texas transplant, is originally from the small, quaint town of Colebrook in northern New Hampshire. She is a mom to Brady and Bianca, wife to Brian (aka The Big Guy), writer, blogger, podcaster, business owner, and a 21-year retired Air Force nurse. Donna co-authored her first book in 2017, Warrior to Patriot Citizen; focusing on ensuring service members are prepared for transition well before transition occurs. She also has her own blog, Taking Off The Armor, focused on all issues before, during and after transition to civilian life; as well as, a multifaceted business, REBel LLC, focused on veteran transition mentorship, consulting, and publishing her own work. You can contact her at rebelllc@gmail.com.

Bianca is a Texas native 5th grader at Randolph Elementary and has a true love for everything and anything art related - writing, dancing, singing (often in the shower), painting, drawing, baking, learning languages, playing instruments, and crafts. It was her idea to draw pictures in the book. She self taught herself to use Google draw and penned every image in the book. She is an avid swimmer and student of Brazilian jiu jitsu, as well as an animal lover. She has two dogs (Amelia and Lilo), a cat (Puck) and is dreaming (and begging) for a white toe tree frog.
