This book is the sum of what the critic "Omar Fakhoury" wrote from controversial articles about poetry and poets, which he issued by his article "The Poet and his Sons", in which he discussed the poet's biases for his early and less quality writings than others, motivated by "patriarchal tenderness" and not just because of literary arrogance. He takes into account the relationship between it and the vocabulary of the era in which it was written, and in its realism it goes with a sharp, sharp doctrine between the one -time and the other until it describes their hair as bad, and even denies the poetry of some of them and praises their mastery of other arts that are far from poetry. It is worth noting that Omar Fakhoury: A writer, thinker and Lebanese critic is considered a pioneer of the realistic school in modern literary criticism, and a science of the flags of the renaissance in the twentieth century, and he had great contributions to authorship and translation.
