Die 1946 in England geborene Pam Schellhorn hat eine Karriere hinter sich, die so bunt wie ein Malbuch ist: Sie arbeitete in Bibliotheken, im Tourismus und im Verkauf, ehe sie schließlich in der Psychotherapie ihre berufliche Heimat findet. Im Rahmen ihrer Zeichentherapie arbeitet sie dort sowohl mit alten, demenzkranken Patienten als auch mit Kindern. In diesem Alltag hat sie sich eine humorvolle und motivierende Art angeeignet, mit Menschen umzugehen, nach dem Motto: ¿Humor und Motivation sind das Wichtigste.¿ Neben Zeichnen gehören auch Schreiben und Dichten zu ihren Lieblingsbeschäftigungen, die auch die Grundlage für dieses Buch bilden. Schon davor hat sie Artikel zu ihrer Arbeit sowie ¿ im Privatbereich ¿ Gedichte und Verse herausgegeben. Pam Schellhorn ist verheiratet und stolze Mutter zweier Töchter.
