Yvonne Bardwell Cox and her husband Pastor Tommy L. Cox resides in Columbus, Mississippi. She is a proud alumnus, successfully completed educational degree status to obtain a Bachelor - Special Education (Jackson State University, Jackson, MS), Master and an Educational Specialist in Administration and Supervision (Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS). She is a lifetime professional educator and learner, who believes in securing educational opportunities for all children. A retired Director (Special Education, Gifted Education and 504 Services), Education Consultant and prior School Board member. She has a broad array of teaching and administrative experiences. Having worked in school districts throughout (Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee), her desire to author children books is a lifetime dream come true. The Pearlie I Dream Book Series is a succession of non-fiction, diverse, educational - teaching and learning tools with an abundance of family values and love. My beloved character, Pearlie is the center of her own personal stories. She writes to share how a child thinks and will works through life situations and circumstances. Pearlie shares precious memories and sometimes hardships as a small child. These life experiences prepared her for future aspirations that she could only dream of. Her books are written for children, parents, teachers, childcare professionals, or anyone who appreciates teachable moments to enhance the reading experience.
