Dr. Ambika P. Ashraf is a professor and division director of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She serves as the Ralph Frohsin Endowed Chair in Pediatrics. She is the director of the Pediatric Lipid Clinic at the Children is of Alabama. She is a fellow of the National Lipid Association and a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. Dr. Ashraf is passionate about lipid disorders in children and co-founded the Lipid Special interest group at the Pediatric Endocrine Society. Dr. Ashraf is well renowned nationally and internationally as a highly regarded specialist in pediatric lipidology.

Dr. Bhuvana Sunil is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. She has a strong clinical and research interest in dyslipidemia. She has authored several manuscripts and book chapters on pediatric dyslipidemia. Dr. Sunil is a recipient of two early career awards for research in paediatric lipid disorders. She is a member of the Lipid Special interest group at the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
