Ghulam-Sarwar Yousof holds a degree in English from the University of Malaya and a Doctorate in Asian Theatre from the University of Hawaii. His interests include Asian literature, literary theory, aesthetics, comparative religion, mythology and mysticism. Apart from his academic publications, his literary works include poetry, drama and short stories.
