Autorenporträt
Lynn McFadden was born in Alabama. At the age of two, she moved with her family to Detroit, Michigan. In grade school she was bullied by a teenage girl in the neighborhood. That bullying changed her life. At age ten, she ran into the street to escape the bully and was struck by a passing vehicle. The doctors told her she wouldn't live a normal life, but she started challenging herself on all levels, and she proved them all wrong. This is one of the reasons Lynn wanted to write this book, the first in a series of books about bullying. She wants to show children that they can overcome dreadful and challenging situations. Lynn is still a resident of Michigan and is doing what she loves, which is working with children and pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
