Autorenporträt

Hello, I am Gail Robin Raes. I wrote Picnics in the Vineyard as a fictional story inspired from actual events in my life. Born in Southern California I have lived all over California including Huntington Beach and Napa which were featured in the story.

I began writing the book in 2015 from a short story I had written in 1990's. The character's names remained the same and the story grew into a book. It is a romantic comedy and contemporary women's fiction.

I have included links to Spotify playlists featuring the music referenced in the story.

Also included are delious recipes from the story. The vegan recipes were courtesy of my nieces, Megan Scott and Chef Lauren Mahlke who own Planted Table in the SF Bay area of Northern California.
