Autorenporträt
Fielding Walsh (aka Field) is a 68-year-old retired surveyor who lives in Yorkshire where he grew up. He found it hard adapting to retirement and so pursued his love of painting and drawing. During a holiday with his wife of 36 years, he heard on the radio that during lockdown Paul O'Grady had written a children's book. As Field had always had a good imagination and had enjoyed making up stories to tell his three children and then later his grandchild, this started him thinking about making his eldest daughters two dachshund dogs into fictional detectives and that was how his first book was created.
