Walking about in the bottom of the castle garden one lovely autumn day, Isabella came upon such a curious sight; she saw with amazement on a bed of smooth green grass under one of the ancient oak trees - a perfectly round ring of tiny delicate pink mushrooms. Everyone in the Kingdom knew that a ring of mushrooms of any kind was magical and special.

Inside this dainty fairy circle was an egg with little pinkish spots all over it.

Isabella, who was a caring, kind young girl, carefully picked up the fragile spotted egg, wrapped it up in her handkerchief and put it safely away in her pocket, as she thought it must have fallen out of its nest in one of the huge pine trees above. It was still warm.

She did not notice a pair of angry eyes watching her from the thick shrubbery as she walked back home.

I live "down under" in south east Queensland, Australia - & I enjoy writing, reading, photography, travel, seeing movies & going out & having some fun & good times with my friends. Not necessarily in that order!

Have a new husband to travel and roam around the area to find out of the way antique/book stores, we have a fun fur ball of fluff, who spend most of the day sleeping and/or laying about decorating the place.

We look out at but don't live IN the Aussie Bush, so life is pretty wonderful right now.

Currently putting together my memoirs/autobiography - I just have to find all the bits I've already written and put them in order.
