Inspired by events in the playwright's own life, Plastic Figurines is a funny and moving play that explores the relationship between siblings with very different views of the world.

This edition was published for the first revival of the play at the New Diorama, London, in September 2016.
Autorenporträt
Ella Carmen Greenhill is a playwright and television writer. She was selected to be part of the Bush Theatre/Kudos initiative in 2013 and is developing a number of original projects with both companies. Her plays Into The Water and Fallen were shortlisted for Theatre Centre's Adrienne Benham award and The Internationalists Playwriting Competition. She was writer on attachment with both Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse and Paines Plough, and is a Royal Court Studio Writers Group alumnus. She is one of the Theatre 503Five writers-in-residence and is part of the Manchester Royal Exchange Next Stages Project.
Her play Plastic Figurines toured with Box of Tricks Theatre Company in spring 2015 and her play Made in Britain was produced at the Old Red Lion Theatre in January 2015. Her play A Deafening Silence was shortlisted for the Papatango New Writing Prize.
