Autorenporträt
Alice Pattullo is an illustrator based in East London. She produces limited edition screen prints for exhibition and sale in various galleries and shops across the UK. Alongside this Alice works on commissioned illustrations for a variety of clients including Betty's and Taylor's of Harrogate, Bon Appetit, Esquire, Cecil Sharp House, Country Living, Crabtree and Evelyn, Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft, Design for Today, Faber, Nandos, National Trust, Sainsburys, The V&A Museum, and The Village Voice.


With more than 80 million specimens, the scope of the Museum's collections is simply vast including the ill-fated dodo, dazzling diamonds and a full-size blue whale model. The Library of the Museum holds half a million artworks, comprising one of Britain's biggest art collections, and over one million books, including rare, richly illustrated antique volumes.

DR FRANCES DIPPER is an author, lecturer and independent marine consultant who has spent a lifetime happily studying marine organisms the world over. A naturalist at heart, she has always loved the sea and has a passion for writing books about the ocean both for adults and for children. She has written and contributed to many books, but her Guide to the Oceans won the Royal Society Aventis Prize for junior Science Books.
