Heinrich Heine - is a distinguished German poet, publicist and literary critic. Heine is considered to be both the last poet of the "romantic period" and its master. He made vernacular language be used in poetry, made feuilleton and travel essays be genres of literature and added unusual for German lightness of speech. His poetry is divided into two groups. The first one is a sentimental poetry lyric about love of a poet-romanticist. The second one is a civil lyric, glorifying of equality in the society, struggle for social justice, European revolutions.
