The poet witnessed this love during his worldwide seeking. His seeking took him as a professor to eight countries over four continents. And when that was not enough, he scanned the world in a backpacking mode. The search for ecstasy was itself ecstatic, and the Poems of Longing are a gift that came out of this search.

Mihar Chaud is a global citizen. His Global Living experiences of humanism, spirituality, and loving have taught him the meaning of love, freedom, happiness and the secrets of the fulfilment of heart. These include being part of the University Faculties in eight different countries around the World, including the Catholic University of Louvain, the Free University of Brussels, and the International Center in Trieste. It also includes travels in over 30 countries, mostly backpacking style. These have brought to him the essence of freedom, universal love and justice. He is profiled in Marquis Who's Who.
