Mostly, all of his work deals with reality, personal concept of how things are, the way he thinks things should be, and ultimately, the way he thinks things should turn out.

Mr. Gooding is fortunate enough to have had parents that were not only Christians but also ministers. Because of his religious background and upbringing, his insights are critical when engaged in relations of husband and wife, family, friends and associates.

He hopes that when you read his work, you will enjoy it as much as he did creating it. Maybe in some small way, you too may be inspired to reach out to someone, if you haven't already. His philosophy is, "There is no better medicine for the soul than caring."

Mr. Gooding has always been interested in writing poems even as a child. He found at an early age that his observations and listening skills were very important in collecting and remembering information about family, friends and close encounters. He was very fortunate to have been raised in a family that both parents were ministers. They taught the family the importance of loving God, family and all people. They also taught them to believe in themselves, nothing is impossible if you are willing to work for it.
