Autorenporträt
Cathy was born Holland, Michigan. She had two older brothers and a wonderful mom and dad. She has been married for thirty-two years to her husband Robert and their twins, Jacob and Juliette. They are now twenty-six years old. She and the twins travelled with her husband's job to Australia and Japan. Cathy's professional life was teaching special education for twenty-six years children with learning disabilities and emotionally impairments. Teaching children was the joy of her life that she also taught English as a second language in Christian schools in Japan. Cathy's love for writing Christian poetry came from her prayer times, where God would give her ideas for the poems. She has attended a few different churches in her home town in Michigan and has been very active in her Women of Faith groups. Cathy gives glory to God for this her first book and said, "I dedicate this first book to my children, to my husband, and to my Lord." Cathy believes that poetry is a way to draw people nearer to God and her hope is that the poetry will be God's seasoning grace in the life of her readers.
