Autorenporträt
I was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, on September 27, 1953. I graduated from Howard High School within eleven years, at the age of seventeen. I joined the United States Women's Army Corps at age eighteen, with a two-year commitment. I worked for the Federal Service Government for several years. I received my associate of arts, bachelor of science degree in psychology, and my teaching certification in special education grades K-12 from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I taught special education in the public schools for over ten years and also taught children Sunday, Bible, and vacation school for many years for the church. I have traveled the world to include most of the states, Germany, Virgin Islands, Paris, Netherlands, and Italy. I currently reside in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with my husband of forty-one years, Robert. We have four children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
