During the beginning pandemic Aaron saw a need for creativity and a voice for the overlook and isolated. After he graduated he was set on writing two films based on experiences he's had in Boise, Idaho. After pitching them and receiving positive feedback he realized that his concepts had one loud underlying theme; isolation. He decided to travel to Tijuana, Mexico a year later to help build a home and care for abandoned families. Although he felt he made a major impact there was so much more for him to do. So he began to write poems to lay his burdens for the people all out. After he left he came back with a poem that would touch the people he cared for. The Lonely Sailor became a hit with everyone he shared it with, and consequently led to the book you are reading now.

Aaron MICHAEL Paskell is a 21 year old aspiring Special Education teacher from Boise, Idaho. He is a literary fanatic who grew up reading Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, J.R.R. Tolkien, William Shakespeare, E.E. Cummings, and Walt Whitman. These are the authors who inspired his own work. He is an author obsessed with expressing his experiences from the wild world around him. Many of his poems have been written during the pandemic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Anchorage, Alaska, Tijuana Mexico, and Boise, Idaho over the last two years. He is a very introspective and curious person who loves to find meaning in every corner of the world. Through his experiences he has written children's stories, skits, plays, films, songs, and an abundance of poems. He hopes to one day move to North Carolina to teach and inspire his students to pursue their passions.
