Sandeep K. Vashist is the Global R&D Director of IVD at Trivitron Healthcare Pvt. Ltd - Labsystems Diagnostics Oy. He was the Discovery and R&D Manager at IDS Immunodiagnostic Systems Deutschland GmbH, Germany; Head of Immunodiagnostics at Hahn-Schickard, Germany; and, Bioanalytical Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb Ireland. He has invented, developed and successfully commercialized many point-of-care (POC), in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and smart technologies; hold several key patents; and, published more than 250 high impact factor journal and conference manuscripts, two books, and several book chapters. He is the Editor for several reputed scientific journals and has also Guest Edited several special issues. Further, he is acting as the international expert for several renowned organizations and funding agencies.

John H.T. Luong is Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University College Cork, Ireland. He was Head of Biomedical Engineering Division of Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and has published over 340 research papers and 10 patents. He has served as an editorial member and Guest Editor of several journals and has received over 19000 citations.
