Autorenporträt
Tricia Bennett grew up as an orphan in a children's home in England. The abuse she suffered made her feel miserable and rejected and gave her a sense of overwhelming loss and powerlessness. As a little girl, Tricia loved writing and dreamed of being part of a family where she could receive love and positive affirmation. At seventeen she tried killing herself, but God had other plans. Only a few months later Tricia experienced a life-changing encounter with God, bringing her into contact with a love she never knew before. In 1980 she married her husband, John, who shares her heart to help the broken and hurting. Today, the Bennetts reside in Central Florida and have funded orphanages and drug rehabs in a variety of countries around the world, including Brazil and South Africa.
