You have a lot to do today. The to-do list has grown to a kilometer long, and at the same time you are pulled every minute. You demand from others to leave you alone - and then you are immediately faced with the fact that distractions attack you from the inside: you suddenly think about an important phone call, you feel an irresistible need to check your mail or twitter, or you find yourself reading the news on the Internet - and things do not budge. All you need to do is stop distractions and really focus on one thing for 25 minutes. The tomato method described in the book does not require complex tools - just a few sheets of paper, a pencil and a regular kitchen timer - for example, in the form of a tomato. This method can be used on its own or as an addition to popular time management techniques. By mastering the art of concentration, you can do much more without spending extra time.
