Autorenporträt
Dr. Bill Adkins is the senior pastor and founder of Greater Imani Church, one of the largest congregations in Memphis, Tennessee. This former broadcast journalist is regarded as a Memphis broadcast icon, having worked as a TV News Anchor and Radio Talk Show Host. He holds degrees in History and Theology and is a recipient of an honorary doctorate. He's led numerous mission journeys to Africa and has preached on five of the six habitable continents. Recognized as a global humanitarian and scholar, Dr. Adkins is credited with taking over five million dollars in medicines, medical supplies and equipment to West Africa. His weekly television program, also titled POWER TO LIVE, is seen weekly on the Word Network in over 93 million homes in America and the Caribbean and in over 200 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
