The daily meditations in Prayer Steps to Serenity: Daily Quiet Time Edition will help you enjoy each day with a peaceful spirit, so you can bring positive changes into your life. The sixty short meditations can by read in sixty days. On the other hand, you may prefer to read one meditation in the morning and another in the evening. Read the meditations in the order in which they appear, for they do follow a progressive and logical plan to help you grow mentally and spiritually. I encourage you to read this book everyday, and then quietly think about the teachings in that day's reading. Through daily prayer steps, God will enable you to:

Quiet your mind and emotions to enjoy inner peace.

Think about your real needs and how to meet them.

Manage your life in ways that will lead to lasting happiness.

Talk to God and others easily, effectively and enjoyably.

Mend broken relationships and restore shattered dreams.

Dream new dreams and achieve new purposes.

Practicing a daily "Quiet Time" will enable you to spend more time alone with God. At the end of each reading, spend some time with God in prayer. Listen to God as He speaks to you through His word. Talk to God about your needs and problems. Ask God to show you His will for your life. Commit your day and plans to God. Ask God to give you His wisdom and power for that day.
