Relationships from long ago confuse the picture, and one board member is a true sociopath. Bailey struggles to find true love while Gwen continues to pray for her as she makes multiple mistakes. Together they investigate their case, their relationship, and tip toe through race relations and crime in the 21st century rural South.

Ms. Duvall grew up in small town Arkansas and returned in midlife to return to the beauty of the state. As a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, she has seen the best and worst of the world and people. Her work in a large urban emergency department grew her interest of forensics and crime.
