I'm retired after forty years practicing psychotherapy. I was blessed with a rewarding career which informs my hobby, writing. I worked with youth, the courts, directed a mental health clinic for homeless people, and ended my career with 22 years as a crisis psychotherapist. In addition to clinical work, I occasionally presented workshops and taught psychology classes at a local college and continue to guest lecture for college classes in the field of Behavior Sciences. In retirement I have increased my focus on writing. Long term I'm focusing on getting a novel published: short term I have been getting short stories published in the Kansas Writers Association annual anthologies.
