She is also an architectural consultant regarding the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Building Code. The emotional intelligence of her pet Standard Poodle, Prince, compelled her to write about his adventures and also theirs together as a volunteer Pet Therapy Team at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, California.
