Book III carries on from Books I and II, the main character Princess Esmeralda discovering who she is and that her world is full of colour and love not greyness and sadness. In Book Three Esmeralda and Quiro go on a Quest with the enchanted seahorse, who has been beside Esmeralda on her journey of discovery. He guides them on a journey that takes a whole day to reach their destination, to meet an old man who is sitting by his fire. He is a storyteller and the pair sit down to hear a story, as it unfolds they realise it is about them and who they really are.

Autorenporträt
Cynthia lives in New Zealand, land of the 'Long White Cloud', a magical land with many myths, legends and fairies in gardens. Her three daughters, and four grandchildren inspire her, as she sees them as Planet Earth's future Guardians. She believes we are meant to know love and joy, we are meant to honour who we are and each other, especially our children. Cynthia hopes her stories will be read as they are intended, to give understanding and hope to not only our children, but to their guardians and carers who read the stories to them, that we can all believe in our special gifts to share, for we are all children of this world.
