Lisa Frank wurde 1997 in Neu-Ulm geboren, wo die Autorin bis heute lebt. Nach ihrem Abitur absolvierte sie eine Ausbildung zur medizinischen Technologin für Laboratoriumsanalytik, widmete sich aber schon immer gerne ihren kreativen Hobbys, unter anderem dem Lesen, Schreiben und Zeichnen. Seit sie denken kann, ist Lisa Frank fasziniert von Vampiren und allem Düsterem und lässt sich von Metal-Musik inspirieren. ¿Gefangener von Blut und Nacht¿ ist ihr erster Roman.
