Autorenporträt
Rui Maximo has 12 years of experience shipping more than 10 commercial software products for IBM and Microsoft, from educational software to operating systems, mobile devices, and server products. Rui has been a lead program manager working in the Unified Communications Group since Live Communications Server 2003. He has been responsible for management of the Active Directory schema extensions; migration from Exchange 2000 IM; definition of supported topologies; design of the Admin Tools MMC, WMI, LcsSync, and MOM Pack; and work on VoIP before leading the Office Communicator Web Access Server product. He's played an important contributing role as a technical expert in developing the product's documentation, Microsoft Professional Exam for LCS 2005, and presenting at major conferences. Rui has been living in the Pacific Northwest and working at Microsoft for the past 10 years as a software design engineer and program manager.
