Prof. Nibaran Das received his B. Tech in Computer Science and Technology from Kalyani University,
M. C. S. E. and Ph.D. (Engineering) degrees from Jadavpur University in 2003, 2005 and 2012
respectively. He joined in Computer Science and Engineering Department of Jadavpur University in
2006. Dr. Das has published more than 140 research articles in various international journals,
conference proceedings and book chapters in the areas of pattern recognition and image analysis
using different Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques. He has co-authored three books. He
has supervised around 40 Master degree students till date. He is supervising six Ph.D. student at
present in the field of medical and document image processing. He is the principal supervisor of two
ongoing project and complete three as principle supervisor. He has also worked as co-supervisor in
three different project. He has been a member of the advisory/program/organizing committees of
different reputed International conferences and workshops
Dr. Ajoy Kumar Khan is presently associated with Mizoram University as a Professor and Head of
Department in the Department of Computer Engineering. He completed his B.Tech (CSE) and M.Tech
(CSE) degrees from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, and was awarded a Ph.D. degree from Assam
University (A Central University). He has 15+ years of teaching experience, including association with
TKH Jain College, Academy of Technology and Assam University. He has completed 3 Sponsored
Research Projects funded by DST, DeitY, and UGC. He has 35 papers published in reputed Journals,
conferences, and book chapters. He was a resource person as an invited lecturer in 20 conferences
and webinars. He has attended more than 30 workshops/FDP. His area of interest include Applied
Cryptography and Information Security like Smart CardSecurity, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, IoT
Security, Cloud Data Security, Big data Security, Neural Cryptography, Quantum Cryptography, Block
Chain Technology, etc
Dr. Swagata Mandal, at present an assistant professor at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering
College(Autonomous) in West Bengal, India. He received his Bachelor of Technology (B.TECH.) degree
in Electronics and Communication from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) in 2011 and his
M.E. degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Communication Engineering from Bengal
Engineering and Science University (Deemed University), now Indian Institute of Engineering, Science
and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Howrah, India in 2013. He has done his Doctoral research on the
Development of FPGA-based Error Resilient Self-Triggered Readout Chain for CBM Experiment at
Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre Kolkata, 20013-2017. He was a Post-Doctoral fellowat the School of
Computer Science Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, during 2017-2018. He is
the recipient of the DGFS-PhD fellowship for pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the
Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, in 2013. He received various fellowship from different
prestigious conferences like VLSID, ATS, ISVLSI, etc., for presenting the paper. His research interests
are: In memory Computation, VLSI design, Embedded System Design, Fault Tolerant System Design
and Hardware cryptography.
Dr. Ondrej Krejcar, is a full professor in systems engineering and informatics at the University of
Hradec Kralove, Faculty of Informatics and Management, Center for Basic and Applied Research, Czech
Republic, and a Research Fellow at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, University
Technology Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2008 he received his Ph.D. title intechnical
cybernetics at Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He is currently a vice-rector for science
and creative activities at the University of Hradec Kralove since June 2020. At present, he is also a
director of the Center for Basic and Applied Research at the University of Hradec Kralove. In the years
2016-2020, he was vice-dean for science and research at the Faculty of Informatics and Management,
UHK. His h-index is 21, with more than 1800 citations received in the Web of Science, where more
than 120 IF journal articles are indexed in the JCR index. In 2018, he was the 14th top peer reviewer
in Multidisciplinary in the World, according to Publons, and a Top Reviewer in the Global Peer Review
Awards 2019 by Publons. He is on the editorial board of the MDPI Sensors IF journal (Q1/Q2 at JCR)
and several other ESCI-indexed journals. He has been a Vice-leader and Management Committee
member at WG4 atproject COST CA17136, since 2018. He has also been a Management Committee
member substitute at project COST CA16226 since 2017. Since 2019, he has been Chairman of the
Program Committee of the KAPPA Program, Technological Agency of the Czech Republic as a regulator
of the EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanism in the Czech Republic (2019-2024). Since 2020, he has
been Chairman of Panel 1 (Computer, Physical and Chemical Sciences) of the ZETA Program,
Technological Agency of the Czech Republic. Since 2014 until 2019, he has been Deputy Chairman of
Panel 7 (Processing Industry, Robotics, and Electrical Engineering) of the Epsilon Program,
Technological Agency of the Czech Republic. At the University of Hradec Kralove, he is a guarantee of
the doctoral study program in Applied Informatics, where he is focusing on lecturing on Smart
Approaches to the Development of Information Systems and Applications in Ubiquitous Computing
Environments.
Dr. Debotosh Bhattacharjee is working as a full professor in the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, Jadavpur University, with nineteen years of post-PhD experience. His research interests
pertain to the applications of machine learning techniques for Face Recognition, Gait Analysis, Hand
Geometry Recognition, and Diagnostic Image Analysis. He has authored or co-authored more than 342
journals and conference publications, including several book chapters in Biometrics and Medical
Image Processing. Two US patents have been granted on his works. Prof. Bhattacharjee has been
granted sponsored projects by the Govt. of India funding agencies like the Department of
Biotechnology(DBT), Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), University Grants
Commission(UGC) with a total amount of around INR 3 Crore. For postdoctoral research, Dr.
Bhattacharjee has visited differentuniversities abroad like the University of Twente, The Netherlands;
Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal; University of Bologna, Italy; ITMO National Research
University, St. Petersburg, Russia; University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; Northumbria University, Newcastle
Upon Tyne, UK and Heidelberg University, Germany. He is a life member of the Indian Society for
Technical Education (ISTE, New Delhi), the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial
Intelligence (IUPRAI), a senior member of IEEE (USA) and a fellow of West Bengal Academy of Science
and Technology.
