Autorenporträt
Dr. Prasanta K. Sahu is Associate Professor of transportation systems in the Department of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus-and holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. His teaching and research interests are in the general area of transportation systems with emphasis on transportation planning, freight transportation modeling and operations, and public transit. He has published more than 90 refereed journal papers and 70 conference papers. He serves in various editorial boards (e.g., Editorial Board Member of Transportation in Developing Economies, Handling Editor of Transportation Research Record, Guest Editor of Research in Transportation Economics, etc.) and is Member of various national and international societies. Dr. Amit Agarwal is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee. He holds a Ph.D. in transportation engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, Germany. His research interests include agent-based transport simulation, intelligent transportation systems, sustainable transportation, travel demand modeling, etc. He was awarded as outstanding young faculty in 2022. Dr. Ankit Kathuria is Assistant Professor in the department of civil engineering at IIT Jammu. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. His research interests are behavioral and psychological aspects of drivers, road safety, social sciences, data mining, mathematical modeling, and behavioral science. He has published more than 48 peer-reviewed research and conference papers. Dr. Nagendra R. Velaga is Professor in Transportation Systems Engineering Group of IIT Bombay. Dr. Velaga received a Ph.D. in transport studies from Loughborough University in 2010. Dr. Velaga has published more than 90 journal articles in leading international journals. His major areas of interests include ITS, human factors and transport accessibility and mobility, and transport logistics.
